Project overview
Redesigned Jungle Scout’s Resources page to make a growing educational library easier to explore, scale, and maintain. The new experience improves content discovery through modular layout and smart filtering—helping users quickly find relevant resources without feeling overwhelmed.
Problem
As Jungle Scout’s content library expanded, the Resources page became difficult to navigate and visually dated. Content lacked clear hierarchy, filtering was limited, and users struggled to surface relevant material—resulting in friction, missed engagement, and underutilized content.
Approach
Improve content discovery and navigability across a large library
Introduce flexible filtering by content type, topic, and experience level
Support SEO, internal linking, and long-term content growth
Ensure strong performance and usability across mobile and desktop
Solution
Scalable Content Architecture
Redesigned the page using a modular, card-based system that supports multiple content types (guides, videos, tools, blogs) within a single, cohesive layout. Clear hierarchy and consistent metadata allow users to quickly scan, compare, and select content.
This structure was designed to scale as the library grows—without requiring redesigns for new formats.
Intent-Driven Filtering
Introduced a smart filtering system that allows users to narrow content by type, topic, and skill level. Filters were informed by content performance and search behavior, helping surface high-value and evergreen resources earlier in the browsing experience.
Filtering remains lightweight and responsive, encouraging exploration rather than overwhelming users with options.
Engagement & Trust Signals
Improved visual rhythm and spacing to reduce fatigue
Subtle motion and interaction feedback to reinforce affordances
Clear labeling and consistency to build trust in content quality
Intent-Driven Filtering
Worked closely with content and SEO teams to align filters and taxonomy with high-value keywords and internal linking goals. Partnered with developers to ensure the experience remained performant, accessible, and responsive across devices.
Result
Stronger content discovery and deeper engagement across the library
Increased time on page as users explored related resources more easily
Reduced bounce rates through clearer hierarchy and personalized discovery
Improved SEO and internal linking through structured content organization
Established a scalable foundation for ongoing content growth
The redesigned Resources page now functions as an intentional discovery surface—supporting education, retention, and long-term growth rather than acting as a static content index.
